Hey, guys, thanks for stopping by the Watermill Lodge! This is supposed to be a big step up from just an easy player house. It has a master bedroom, a large living room, and even a couple of guest rooms. I think this is a really nice idea because not only will your kids be far from home, but you will be spending most of your time in the rooms with showers, beds, etc. (depending on how many kids you have).
The lodge has two main areas – The Spa and The Game Room. The Spa is the place to get ready for a day of activities, including massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, and massages. You can also buy beautiful robes and beautiful handbags at the spa area. There are a couple of shops in the lodge that sell gift certificates for activities. You also have a couple of guest bathrooms, each with their own sinks and/or showers.
The Game Room has all the games you would ever need for a good game night with your friends. There are pool tables, billiards, video arcade games, shuffleboard, slots, and table tennis. There is even a restaurant with a couple of nice restaurants and bars (including one kebab house). There is an awesome bar area and there are always coolers and wine to be had. It is located right next to the lodge itself in the Kilmore Quay area.
The main attraction of this lovely little Watermill Lodge is the fantastic view from your beautiful bedroom window. I have slept and woken in the same bedroom when I first came to see the hotel, and it is still one of my favourite places to stay. The Kilmore Quay area has some very old villages dating back hundreds of years that you can walk along with your daughter and have a real sense of history.
The lodge is surrounded by some beautiful water gardens. The beautiful Lisnaskea Water Gardens has a lot of really cool and refreshing fish and other aquatic life. There is also a very cool and modern sunken ship, which you can go on to explore. If you want to get up close and personal with seals, you will love what the lodge has to offer. There are seal viewing walks throughout the lough erne, which will allow you to look at the seals feeding from the shores below.
The Watermill Lodge is not like other hotels in Donegal. They have a lot of character and the prices are quite competitive. Donegal comes to life when you visit Donegal, especially at night. You can stay at the watermill lodge, which will give you all the relaxing and rejuvenating benefits you would expect from a 5 star hotel, while being at the heart of this beautiful county Donegal.
