Lunches, Buffets & Dinner Parties
The Mill Room can accommodate up to 100 people with an additional 50 guests in the adjoining riverside conservatory. In addition to the Yuletide festivities, the Old Mill is also open for bookings on special days such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day
Not everyone wants an evening party. Luncheons are also a favourite. Imagine drinks and canapes served on the lawn, a string quartet or jazz band playing on the patio or under the gazebo. There are endless ways to celebrate that special occasion, or just a social get together.
Masons
Over the past 40 years we have played host to many Masonic lodges. Some hold meetings in local village halls. We currently have 5 lodges who enjoy festive board dinners and social gatherings with us
Probus (Professional Retired Businessmen)
Newbury Probus attend luncheon with us the second Tuesday of each month with guest speakers on various topics, including Robin, who was invited to speak on the life and history of The Old Mill.
M.O.T.H.S
The Memorable Order of the Tin Hats dine in November for their armistice dinner, a well supported evening to remember the fallen of all wars.
Corporate
With our extensive grounds The Old Mill is ideal for corporate days. With team building activities such as carriage driving, clay shoots and fishing followed by and BBQ these have proven to be popular events.
