The Old Mill Fishery consists of
four weirs and the main river. On the top river you can expect Roach,
Bream Tench, Perch and Carp. In the weirs there are many types of
fish, but most sought after are the Barbel and Chub. Even in full
flood conditions Chub and Barbel can be found. Generally most areas
are fishable all of the time, and if the weirs and river are not
enough to delight any fisherman, there is also a pond where carp
of up to 30lbs have been caught.
